Found your internship? Next steps

Following your application and interview(s), where you got to know each other better and discussed the content of your internship, you managed to secure an internship at Johnson & Johnson. 

Contract(s)

Before you start your internship, an internship agreement will be drawn up by the J&J inhouse Randstad team. Depending on your level of education, project and the department where you will be doing your internship, additional contract(s) may be needed (i.e. UNL contract for WO interns). Your internship supervisor will inform you about our process and work with you to complete any additional contract(s). 

Your first day

Your internship supervisor will welcome you on your first day. Depending on your startdate and department, you will kick-off your internship with an onboarding day and/or period. At Johnson & Johnson there is opportunity to shape and develop your own internship. Discuss your learning objectives at the start of your internship with your internship supervisor and develop an internship plan together to ensure you get the most out of your internship. 

During your internship

Regular events, both social and developmental, are organised for all interns by the Young Talent Lead. We want to support you to meet and connect with fellow interns, to get to know the company more broadly and to support your development. These events provide an opportunity to build lasting professional relationships, exchange ideas, and gain diverse perspectives that can enrich your personal and professional growth.

We see our interns as future talent and each year multiple interns stay with us following their internship, either for a part-time or full-time job or another internship. Approximately halfway the internship, the Young Talent Lead will set-up a meeting to discuss your experiences, feedback, and interests for the second half of the internship and beyond. 

Make sure to communicate your needs and expectations with your internship supervisor. Schedule regular 1-1 meetings to discuss progress, what you hope to achieve and any support you might need.
